In addition to serving Bank Intelligence Solutions as its President, Kevin Tweddle works with our clients as a trusted advisor, facilitating online strategy sessions with bank executives across the country. Kevin's 25+ years of financial services industry experience include five years as CFO of the Bankers Bank in Atlanta. He managed the rapid market of this correspondent bank throughout the Southeastern United States, nearly doubling its asset size from $700 million in 1999 to $1.5 billion in 2004. The success Kevin piloted there, coupled with his continuing exposure to banks' market initiatives across the nation, bring inestimable value to the strategy sessions he leads for our clients.

Andy Grinstead applies his notable marketing expertise to his dual roles at Bank Intelligence: that of SVP of Sales & Marketing for our company and expert advisor to our clients. Andy's 20+ years of experience include bank consulting services in the areas of strategic bank marketing, new market entrance, strategic planning, and market planning, among others. He has developed programs for market and revenue enhancement; product development and go-to-market planning; and retail, small business, and commercial customer strategy. Prior to joining Bank Intelligence, Andy served as Executive, Financial Institutions Consulting with Crowe Chizek & Co.

Bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Bank Intelligence client base, Rick Boals successfully facilitates strategic and tactical planning sessions with executives of financial institutions throughout the United States. His 40+ year career in commercial banking includes senior management responsibilities for all facets of the business, including financial analysis and strategic planning, operations, technology, and administration at The Bank of Bartlett, Union Planters Bank, and the National Bank of Commerce in Memphis.

Years spent as an innovative executive with leading community and regional banks, as well as more than 15 years as an advisor to financial institutions, qualify Kevin to make significant contributions to the planning teams of Bank Intelligence clients. While serving in leadership positions at a number of banks, Kevin was responsible for notable achievements in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, de novo market and branch expansions, commercial and retail banking, alternative delivery channels, and training and development.

Well versed in all aspects of banking, Dave applies more than 25 years of experience to the provision of consultative services and solutions to banks. His tenures as President/CEO, CFO and Board Secretary, and EVP of banks in Indiana add both depth and breadth to the knowledge he imparts to our clients. Among other responsibilities, Dave has directed merger and acquisition activity both as acquirer and seller. His marketing initiatives included the design of a performance measurement and rewards system utilizing balanced scorecard principles.


Terry Johnson

Terry Johnson has over 25 years of executive management and entrepreneurial experience in the financial institution industry. His experiences include founding and running a start-up company designed to provide thought leadership to industry executives, serving as the partner in charge of Crowe Horwath LLP’s national financial institution consulting practice as well as the partner who oversaw new product and service innovation for the firm’s financial institution practices. Prior to joining Crowe, Terry served in senior management and executives positions at Fifth Third Bancorp and Michigan Financial Corporation.


Grey Winstead

Grey brings over 30 years of experience in the executive management of six successful community banks in the metro Atlanta and north Georgia markets.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.  His experience includes organizing de novo banks, converting charters and going public and going private capital transactions.  His merger and acquisition experience includes both the sale and purchase of community banks, including due diligence, valuations, negotiations, closing and merger integration.  He has been responsible for strategic planning and execution management, incentive alignment, financial, operations and IT management, investor relations and regulatory relations.  His perspective brings balance to the competing needs of shareholder returns, customer value propositions and regulatory safety and soundness.


Paul Williams

Paul brings over 20 years of banking and management experience to Bank Intelligence clients.  His experience in community, regional and national banking includes expertise in commercial banking, treasury management, insurance, strategic planning, marketing and retail operations.  Previously, Paul ran Specialty Banking for Zions Bank of Salt Lake City in delivering fee income products to commercial customers.  He has directed wholesale bank strategic planning and marketing for First Security Bank, worked as a community bank consultant with Pacific Coast Bankers’ Bank of San Francisco and directed marketing and sales for a core processor.  Paul also has expertise in building sales cultures, customer experience models and alternative product channels.  In addition to banking, he has served as CEO of a living history foundation.           



Dawna Gunter

Dawna Gunter has over 30 years of financial institution experience in banking leadership and consultant roles.  During her tenure in banking, Dawna was a leader in Retail Banking, Marketing, Business Intelligence, Analytics and Strategic planning. Dawna also played a key role in asset-liability management, steering pricing policy decisions and product development.  As a Senior Managing Consultant in the Revenue Enhancement division at Fiserv, Dawna partnered with Community and Regional Banks, employing consulting and technology to drive sales and business methodology.  Dawna’s current role as Senior Bank Strategist will leverage these skills and perspectives, and inform her interactions with bank clients.
